From artwork to impression

How your logo becomes a foil finish.

We review your requirements and artwork, then provide a proof for you to check before printing.

Four illustrated stages: artwork, a metal printing block, hot-foil transfer and the finished branded box.

01   Prepare the artwork

Send your logo and chosen product. A vector PDF or Adobe Illustrator file is preferred.

02   Make the block

A metal printing block carries the raised, mirror-image design used to transfer the foil.

03   Print the packaging

Heat and pressure transfer the foil where the raised artwork makes contact.

04   Review the finish

Your logo completes the presentation. Keep previous order details for suitable repeat printing.

Example: printing 300 boxes using one £50 block is £95 excluding VAT, plus the boxes and any delivery charges. Different logo sizes may need additional blocks; we confirm the costs with your quote.

First printing orderAround two weeks while your logo block is set up.

Repeat printing orderMaximum one week with an existing suitable block.

A few useful answers

Before you start.

Which boxes can you print?

Printing on the top of a box is available only for suitable cardboard boxes. Our Leatherette, Everest and Velvet collections can be printed inside the lid. Send us the product reference so we can confirm the printing position and suitability.

What logo file should I send?

A vector PDF or Adobe Illustrator file is preferred. If you have another format, email the files you have and we can discuss any preparation or design support required.

Will I see a proof before printing?

Yes. Send your logo and chosen packaging so we can prepare a digital sample and artwork proof. Check the logo, wording, size and positioning carefully before approving it.

Can you reuse my printing block?

Your block can be reused for suitable future orders. Different logo sizes may need different block sizes. Mention your previous order so we can check what is already available and confirm any additional charges.

Can you print in more than one colour?

For multiple colours or more detailed designs, we can discuss offset printing and fully bespoke packaging options. Tell us about your design, quantity and preferred finish.

Is a custom bag order the same as a box-printing order?

No. Our box-printing service has a minimum of 300 pieces. The Custom Gift Bag Builder is for bespoke bags from 1,000 units, with an estimated 6–8 week lead time after proof approval. Printing charges for bags are confirmed with your quote.

Can you help with a display for my shop?

Yes. We can discuss made-to-measure window and cabinet displays. Include your measurements, jewellery types, preferred colours or materials, and any reference images with your enquiry.
